Rockwerchter 2016 / Throwbackpost

——

The ones who knows me or follow me in my social media, knows that I love concerts and festivals, so this is a post about THE BEST FESTIVAL IN LIFE, called Rockwerchter (placed in Belgium). I coul see shows from artists like Skunk Anansie, PJ Harvey, Iggy Pop, Courtney Barnett, Savages, Beck (one of the best shows in the festival, I went with no expectations), Florence and the Machine, Tame Impala, etc.

We had rain, mud (a lot of mud) and my best musical experience in life.

For the ones who have tried my camera (Fuji x100t) you know that the extra lens only reach 50mm, that means when you see some artist close, it means that she/he was REALLY close to the camera.

It was my first Festival abroad and the experience was amazing!

Rockwerchter, I miss you.

—

(Yes, I had to double check if I spell it right)

We went to Coyhaique (1.692kms from our home) to celebrate our Birthdays (a tradition that started in Mexico, then Lima and now the south of Chile) surrounded by beautiful and green landscapes. We went for a few days where we mainly discover the “marble chapels” and the Queulat park (it takes 4 hour trips to every attraction there).

We had heat, sun, clouds, cold and rain, everything perfect for a trip to the south of Chile (also a beautiful birthday brunch).

There were too many amazing landscapes, so the gallery is quite long.

Gracias Coyhaique!

One question: Do you prefer this kind of gallery or just one photo below the other? Waiting for your comments!

Vik for L'Officiel-Arg

So, I was invited by L’Official Magazine (Argentina) to photoshoot this amazing hotel and vineyard in Millahue valley, Chile. Everything there, starting with the views, was luxurious. We spend a night there with Jaime, the producer, he stayed at the Chile room, and I was given the Norge room (which felt special ‘cause part of my family is Norwegian).

The sad part of all was that I don’t drink alcohol at all, but it felt bad saying No when they offered me, so I tasted a lot of expensive wine without really enjoying it. Sorry, not sorry.

Have you ever take breakfast on a 7 stars hotel? Well, don’t do it too often, otherwise you’ll be dead from a diabetic coma (at least that’s what I think it would happen to me).

The weather was amazing, it started raining the minute after we started the ride back (hurray for my camera!) and leaving the valley we saw some kind of hawk catching a snake in the middle of the road. What a weird and magical way to end this experience.

P.s.: These were taken with my Canon 5D IV

A very merry Christmas and a happy new year (yeah, like the song)

South, Sun, Sand, Sobrinos, Shawarmas, Ceviche.

That’s a recap of my Holidays in Coñaripe.

Fortunately my hole family was there (that doesn’t happen very often) so they were very magical days.

(and yes, I bake for Christmas and of course my mom couldn’t believe it)

Take a look:

For New years eve we make a dinner with a couple of very close friends, it supposed to be a simple and short, but we played Dixit ‘til 4.30 am.

I didn’t take many photos (though we looked very pretty) but here’s the food and fireworks, lo que importa en verdad:

P.d.: ese postre quedó tan maravilloso maldita sea. Those quesitos were delicious too.

My first food, sorry, my first time in this beautiful country: Food, I mean, Perú.

We also went to Ica, Paracas, Nazca and Huacachina.

Did I mention something about the food? ‘Cause YES, it is THE BEST.

Gracias Perú

Tallarín saltado con salsa huancaina: I’m thinking of you.

Cumpleaños feliz, Chiloé, puppies, landscapes and food.

Trip to the south (where my parents lives) with a couple of days in Chiloé and tons of cuteness.
